Texas Oil. Interesting setting. The characters are funny. The characters are from similar backgrounds. 2 more books in the series.
Ok, so I completely loved this new series. I couldn't put it down and stayed up way to late reading it. The Price brothers are awesome, I'm digging the way they seem like real people even if they are filthy rich. Our heroine Ivy is adorable and Boone's dirty talk keeps it steamy. I recommend to any romance lover looking for a fun, addictive, sexy read.
Admittedly, I'm totally a fangirl here, but I just can't get enough of this author. I have determined its not possible for her to write a bad book. This was such a sweet, cute, sexy, read. I am obsessed with this authors games series but this series might even be better, if that's possible. I LOVE Boone and his brothers too! Great stuff can't wait for more!
3.5 stars for this fun, engaging romantic comedy. The hero is over the top, but hey, it's Texas. He must win the heroine by helping her best the foils of her 3 mustache-twirling bad guy bosses. But when he believes she's betrayed him, all bets are off!
I love Jessica Clare, I got sucked into her Games world (looooved) but this just didn't do it for me. The characters weren't ones I got attached to. The meeting definitely didn't jive with my feminist ideals -- I mean, I love fun/contemporary romances and I love heroines who are flawed but strong, but just not Boone meeting up with Ivy, and I just wasn't a fan of the hiding-aspect.
This book was so good. I couldn't put it down! It made me smile an laugh out loud. Boone is for sure an Alpha Male but he isn't a jerk about it... well not to Ivy anyways. It has a really different approach to the rich man poor girl story line an it works! I can't wait for the other books.

I had to read this book after reading book #2. I had to know Boone's story and how this family of billionaire roughnecks happened. I was not disappointed, but wow, I never would have guessed that Boone was such an ornery cuss...LOL.

Boone is the working man's billionaire having to make his way in the middle of the snooty wealthy. He doesn't handle the strife and attitudes among his peers very well. In fact when they snub him, he tends to throw his money around and then take to burning businesses down. It's actually pretty funny. But Boone is certainly not your typical billionaire hero...and I liked that.

Ivy is not what she appears to be either. I love that she is working as hard as she can to make a better life for her and her sister, despite the constant setbacks. I love that Boone fell for her, because this girl deserves to be spoiled.

I liked the two of them together, and everything about this book worked for me. I just thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was entertaining and kept me laughing at Boone's hijinks. I definitely recommend it and am looking forward to the rest of the series.
