I expected more doll and animal patterns, but the layout is good, easy to follow. It is a basic doll making book.

The patterns were not very good and clear about how to do the hands and toes. I think it could have been drawn better, it may be good for you but not for me, sorry!
Worst directions ever! So disappointed in this book. Not worth the money at all.
I wanted to make a plain rag doll and this book was worth it because I found just the doll that I was looking for. If I had any suggestions it was in the sewing of the dolls. She sorta took for granted that we were experienced, so I made a few mistakes at first. I loved the horse and the cat. In fact I loved the entire book.
